MARKANALISE

Samil was die koper.

MARKVOORUITSIGTE

So berig Etienne Bezuidenhout, OVK Sybokhaarbestuurder.

MARKET ANALYSES

The second sale of the 2020 winter season took place in Port Elizabeth today, the 8th of September 2020. There was limited competition on adult mohair as well as seedy mohair and very little was sold. DH Schoeman of Oudtshoorn fetched the highest price of R560.00/kg today for a bale of winter kids. Samil was the buyer.

MARKET OUTLOOK

Due to large volume on offer for the coming sale, it seems as if there will still be some pressure on seedy, adults and strong young goats, whilst the fine young goat and winter kids will be relatively unchanged and sell on current levels. The next sale will be in Port Elizabeth on the 29th of September 2020. So reported by Etienne Bezuidenhout, OVK Mohair Manager.
